This property is entirely visible from several locations on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Located close to the famous cross on top of Mt. Lyn Lowry, the property spans the ridge between Mt. Lyn Lowry and Browning Knob. The property is home to a variety of wildlife and plant communities including a stand of rare spruce-fir forest. Conservation Trust for North Carolina will donate the property to the National Park Service for inclusion in the proposed Waterrock Knob Park.
